This shows that the most independent films I have seen are majority in the last 10 years but the classics I have watched outside of that year gap, I cannot use as they are not within the restrictions.

Spider man 3: action/ adventure/ fantasy, director: Sami Raimi (could be Hollywood as produced by Columbia pictures- previous research was incorrect that summit entertainment produced this film) << Hollywood
Twilight: Drama/ fantasy/ romance, director: Catherine Hardwicke (definitely independent since 2006)
Knowing: drama/ mystery/ sci-fi, director: Alex Proyas (definitely independent since 2006)
Harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2: adventure/ family/ fantasy, director: David Yates (could be Hollywood as produced by warner brothers and co-produced by summit entertainment) << Hollywood
RED: action/comedy/crime, director: Robert Schwentke (definitely independent since 2006)
Push: action/sci-fi/thriller, director: Paul McGuigan (definitely independent since 2006)
