Django Unchained- stylistic dialogue

'shiiit negro'
this type of dialogue is known as 'stylised' as it is used for effect- it isn't usually used in real life circumstances. it is used as a way to emphasise the character's traits.
from this clip we can tell that he is comfortable with his race and almost being ironic about it due to the day and age of which this film is set. the blood on his collar could indicate that he has just had a bloody battle with someone which is usually stereotyped with this kind of character back then. by using the word 'negro' it shows that he is used to the term and not easily alarmed or effected by it- it shows that he is around white people alot. his suit connotes that he is been to an important meeting- it could show that he is higher up in the heirarchy system among white people more so than other black people maybe giving him status and authority over other black people. it shows this derogitory term is not offensive to him but he almost takes the mic out of white people for thinking it would make them feel more lowly than them.
